WHO IS RAIJOSÉ?

Raijosé is a young professional with many dreams and hopes. He grew up in Arecibo, Puerto Rico wHere he strived as a basketball player. His abilities on the court earned a scholarship to attend the University of Puerto Rico in Mayaguez where he was the captain of the basketball team. After obtaining his Bachelor's in Chemistry in 2005, he decided to pursue his lifetime passion and played professional basketball in Puerto Rico with the Arecibo Captains, 2005 Champions. Due to some injuries sustained during the beginning of his career, he spent most of the time in rehabilitation clinics. During this time, he noticed the need for better rehabilitation care and got to know the chiropractic discipline. Chiropractic became his new passion and he decided to continue his education and obtain a doctorate in Chiropractic.

After obtaining his degree from Parker College in Dallas, Texas in 2012, Raijose has worked as a Doctor in Chiropractic in Puerto Rico, Singapore and where he currently resides, New Mexico. His professional goal is to provide medical services not commonly provided in the communities, like functional neurology and children’s development problems. These medical services will provide a better quality of life for individuals diagnosed with ADD, autism and neurological disorders by offering a natural alternative to current practices. To achieve these goals, while he worked as a Chiropractor, he was working on a post doctorate in Functional Neurology from the F. R. Carrick Institute and a Certificate in Disorders of Childhood Development.

At the beginning of September he started having symptoms such as coughing, fever, night sweats and chills. The symptoms were dismissed thinking they were associated with a mild case of the flu. Over time, the symptoms got worse and he ended up in the hospital. We never expected to hear from the doctors the bad news that Raijosé has Stage 4-B Hodgkin Lymphoma. Since that day, Raijosé has a new passion and that is LIFE. He is staying positive and decided to fight the disease. However, given that he is unable to work and the medical bills keep adding up, he needs your help to win the battle against cancer. The medical costs are estimated to be between $60,000 to $100,000.

Those who know Raijosé, know he is a humble, hardworking and charismatic person who will always give you a smile and help when you are in need without asking anything in return. Today, Raijosé needs your help and we know that together WE WILL WIN THE BATTLE AGAINST CANCER. We deeply appreciate any help you can give so he can get treatment and continue living his dreams. THANK YOU!
